Fatherhood, Formula, and Other F Words by Anhanninen

 

Edward is a young doctor who spends his free time sleeping around.  After moving back to Washington to work, he gets a visit from a past one-night stand who brings him a surprise: a baby.  The woman decides she's not ready to be a mother and leaves the baby girl with Edward.  Edward is forced to leave behind his playboy lifestyle and grow up to become a father.

Bella lives in the apartment next door to Edward.   When she sees Edward struggling to learn how to care for an infant, she steps in to help.  She becomes a regular babysitter for him, and through this relationship a romance begins to form

The story focuses on Edward as he traverses his way through fatherhood and his first serious romantic relationship.  The reader will watch them begin to blend their lives together and form their own small family.

I've read this fic more than once, and recommend it for people who like fluff and romance with a plot.
